From the gentle giants of the Shire horses to the hardy Shetlands, there are a variety of breed classes at the Aberystwyth & Ceredigion County Show.

Being in Welsh cob country, the Show is offering its bespoke Silver Medal for champions in the Welsh Sections A-D and also the champion in the Welsh ridden section. This Show offers both ridden and in-hand qualifiers for The National Welsh Championship Show, held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, full details can be seen in the schedule.

The Show is affiliated to the following breed societies, Shire Horse Society, Welsh Pony & Cob Society, Shetland Pony Stud Book Society, Chaps (UK) 19158, Veteran Horse Society.
